Just received as expected refused RCOS with 36pts. I am told by my HR that the cut off is 55 this month so far.
Good luck everyone. Hope for something better next month may be.
the HR is just giving the information which we know too "cut off is 55 this month so far"

I am still positive for 45 this month.

There are 587 at 45 last month, month on month changes and RLMT expiries considered it can be around 700 this month. Which means we need the rest of the points at 1300 appx.

we have SOC i.e 130 and above at a monthly average of 750 (consistently) which leaves 550 for scores between 50 and 130. Traditionally 50-90 have been around 200-300 and 90-130 are around 100.

So unless something is going terribly wrong, 45 should have a strong case. Keep positive. We haven't directly heard 45 points rejected!

I think that they have prioritised NHS workers- so doctors etc. Hence some will get COS at 45 points and others will get rejection at 50 points due to Non-NHS roles. :( :( :(
Is there anyone on here with 45 points and working for NHS/medical field? Please confirm if you have any news.
After reading the excel sheet information given by the Home office, I think the CoS can be given to lower points also. Since in December, CoS was also granted to people with 35, 21, 43 points when the cutoff was clearly 55 points. Lack of clarity is just creating more uncertainties.

COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU. I did the calculation myself also. This time 45 should get through even if I inflate the figures a little. I am waiting on 44, and I know someone who got through at 43 just now. Non-SOL, non-PHD. Applied for the first time.

all exceptional circumstances are given from next month's quota. So the points in December below the cut off are from November. There were some delays in November apparently.

Keep positive, 45 will get through, hopefully.

Yes, and once 45 gets cleared, hopefully things will improve for others waiting in 30s. Because 45 is the largest number that is getting rejected and the number is just increasing every month.

People in their 30s, PLEASE DO NOT LOSE HOPE. everything will get okay, I have been in this boat for so long, you feel depressed and dejected but please don't lose hope, and also understand that one day when your visa will come, all this sadness will become history. Dont lose hope, people exist to only put you down, you must be facing people who are rejoicing now, who one were jealous of you when you got a job in the UK, a job everyone desires. They will keep pulling you down, get back and keep trying. This is how I'm keeping positive at 44 points, hope this helps you.

You don't have acccess to the privilege of PM function.

Any reason you can't google the information as most of the members do?? Or read through this whole topic to see if information has already been posted (likely has).

No, nothing exceptional. I am waiting on 44 points. Status still showing "under review". I am confused as to why someone with 50 points got rejected? Because then it is creating confusion.

You are waiting at how many points?

I am at 45 pts. Status was showing "under review" when I checked with my employer yesterday evening 4:30PM UK time.

No update after that yet.

Does anyone know if a company can still have certificates to allot that they have been granted before December 2017? Because a friend got a CoS at 43 points but there are many people here who are getting rejected at 45. Please someone can you explain this situation?

Just got a confirmed refusal for 45 points non SOL
My company is trying since Jan. My current visa runs out this month and I will have to go back.
I had Tier 2 dependent and separated and since then my company has been applying. Not sure if this is ever going to change.. Just feel very dejected.

These calculations are groundless. Do not make applicants hopeful based on baseless calculations. Every month there have been 1600+ applicants for over 50k salary and SOL together. This is based on the published excel file.

I have 45p with a realistic view to the situation. Making others hopeful based on nonsensical calculations, make the wake-up time more painful.

The only hope for 45p is negotiation with the company to increase the salary.

Moreover, do not count on "backlog clearance". In January the 45+ backlog got cleared, but in February 1700+ applicants were in the 45+ again. Even if this month threshold is 45+p again, next month 1700+ NEW applicants with higher than 45p would apply , and again it would be same story.

Can you please explain how the 45points backlog was cleared in january? Because from what I recall, the cut off was 46 points. and the backlog has only been increasing for 45points:

Figures of rejected CoS at 45 points-
December- 217
January- 385
February- 460
March- 421
April- 578

I preferred not to believe the things others say about 45 this month. But it is watching the same rubbish again and again considering April had the highest chances with 2200 allocations.
