Sending best wishes for good luck this month. I didn’t apply this month (41) cause RMLT expired but we are re-doing it and hopefully applying again in June based on how things go this month. Hoping for the best!

yes please if you could get this confirmed. Sounds so much positive for the HO to have started looking at 45 band. Even in the scenario, the salary was increased to the next band, this is still a big step for the HO to be reviewing application in the 50 band early in the cycle..!!

New to the forum. Based on this, I have a question. Does the Home Office screens application in no particular sequence? I believe they would be looking based on descending order of points. Based on posts in this thread, on Friday, both 75 and 45 pointers got through.

or maybe if salary is increased, then the next point grade is 50. I am sure many of us here will be sitting between 50 and 75.

I wanted to know, there is 30 points for RLTM or 20 points. I wanted to know, how exactly points are getting calculated. I’m bit confused with the points calculation process. Please help me to understand the same.

I am waiting with 50 p still haven't heard anything and I saw another person waiting with 60 on friday so I really doubt this info is true maybe the person moved to a shortage job ... but if it's true this is a very good news for everyone

the number over 50k is growing to 1861 in April. if it keep growing in May, considering the quota is 1975, it minimum score might be 46 again.

my score is 39, maybe the last try.

the key point of the hard currently situation is the new request per each month is growing, especially the high score(over 60k), if it keeps in that way, there is no hope for the guys in the waiting backlog

This is a rough estimation based on the excel file and RCoS allocations

If things are similar as previous months, then there is no hope for below 46, including me!

Estimation of 45p applicants is linear increase from April, i.e. #April + (#April-#March)
Estimation of other brackets is either similar to above or simple moving average with weights 0.8,0.15,0.05.

Not very scientific estimations, and not even logically consistent table, but it tells the story.

Ps. Every cell is the new applicants, except for 45p which is cumulative.

Did u account for the number of applicants that applied in December whose RLMT is now expired. So if u take an increase compare to the previous months except april, without any scientific backing I think the number would actually reduce from last month. Like everything that's been said here, my thoughts are also pure speculation. It's best we wait until Wednesday when we know some hard facts. Just my opinion. I'm waiting since Jan with 41 points and second RLMT.

Yeah it basically all comes down to how many applications there are going to be with 46+ points. If there are less than 1400 applications with 46+ then 45 can be cleared this month. And that was the case for many of the months last year but not recently. If 45 gets cleared this month then good chances for 40-45 to be cleared in June. All we can do is hope and inform each other with our results on this forum as soon as we get them. Good luck :)

Yea ur right about the clearing of the backlog for 46+. I guess it's just a case of waiting to know on the number of applicants this month on the 46+ case. Not to mention we won't have the carry over of the 50 and 55 point in May like April had from March. I mean its all just speculation again hahaha.

per rule the entire band has to clear i.e all from 40-45 . not just the 45 pts

PART 1 - Type of Job: A

• Shortage occupation: 130 points
• PhD-level occupation code and job passes Residence Labor Market Test (or an exemption applies): 75 points
