Does that mean that there is no point waiting? Would they still issue COS even they have updated the site?

Hi Sunny,

Can you let me know how did Home Office convey the COS approval to the employer. Do they update by email or does the employer need to check the SMS system?

thanks guys....employer says they checked the SMS account.

applications with 21 points have been issued COS, so salary isn't an issue this month.

hey guys, my cos application was submitted on the 3 September and still has a status of "under review" on 23 October. Is anyone else waiting?

Does this mean that I will have to wait till next month? Or potentially be granted 'exceptional consideration outside of monthly allocation during previous month'? If so, can anyone share their experience and/or how long this will take? Thank you!

We are on the same boat. My applicaion is also showing "Under Review" and even I cant find much details for this status. As per my serach, they might ask your employer for more documents. My employer dint hear anything from HO in terms of more detail.

What about you?

Its bit annoying. But good thing is, it not reject yet. Even I m so much confuse in terms of points. As per HO if employer have done RLMT, than we get directly 20 points. Than add salary points. So our points are definaltly more than 21 in this case.
Right?

Yes, I know, and the site says that every valid application which received 21 points were successful.
So I am not sure why we are not yet informed.

Hi Guys,

My wife's employer has confirmed that the status is still showing as Under Review in the SMS system.
I wanted to understand what does this essentially mean, now that the list is already published on the Home Office site.
Does this imply that we have to wait for Nov allocation now? Can anyone clarify please as we are really tensed.
The employer has also not told my wife whether the SMS system reflects any more details, i.e. I would have expected some comment on the SMS system to tell that your application is moved to next allocation or something on similar lines.
It would be great if someone can help clarify this who has already gone through the same experience. I must say it is such an annoying process and there is no defined steps anywhere

Hi abhmahaji

The SMS system that sponsor can see will just show 'under review status' with no other comments at all.
I am in the same situation, my employer has contacted the home office to check whether the application would go to the next monthly allocation. The reply was 'it may go or may not go' not a reliable answer at all.
I don't think there is anything that we could do really other than just wait and see, I agree with you that this is an annoying process, as they should actually let us know the status of an application.

Hey ancy mathew, any idea, how ur employer contact to HO. Please share detail if possible. One of the previous post is saying that employer need to chase. So, we can try that option.

Hello abhmahaji,

There is an icon in the SMS system showing 'contact'.This will lead your employer to a number to contact the HO. I have to say that they won't provide much information, they will just give a general answer.

Hello abhmahaji,

You could also email to Tier2limitsteam, my employer did it yesterday explaining the urgency of the application and they came up with a further query regarding my salary band. They said that they need this information in order to continue with my application review.
So you guys ask the employer to Email mentioning the sponsor license number, job category, SOC code and query about the status of the application.
