On 10th Apr, I received an email from Sheffield that my application has been received.
On 20th Apr 2017 had to call the UK immigration office to confirm the status, they said it is pending some checks.
On 21st Apr I wrote to them for the status and got a reply on 22nd Apr saying it has been processed.
On 22nd Apr got a text from VFS saying application has been processed and will be dispatched from the decision center (Delhi)
I finally received the passport on 26th Apr 2017.

-- Got an email for main applicant on 02nd May 2017- No English language certificate is attached. Please send within 5 working days.
--Got an email for spouse on 02nd May 2017- No Marriage certificate is attached within 5 working days( we have submitted the marriage certificate in VFS centre though)

--I have sent the marriage certificate on 03rd May for my spouse's application.
--I have sent the UKNARIC English language certificate on 04th May for my main applicant's application.
On the same day I have received 3 separate system generated emails on 04th saying they aim to provide a decision within 15 working days but your case was not straightforward so we will not be able to send a decision within that time frame.

On 19 May 2017 - Received mail from Sheffield asking to send TB certificate of my wife (dependent) although we have submitted to VFS on day of application submission.
On 22 May 2017 - Resent TB certificate to HO. Also, after enquiry, I got email that my application has been processed and decision has been made.
On 26 May 2017 - After calling to premium number, confirmed application of wife has also been processed.
On 31 May 2017 - After mailing VFS, they confirmed they have passports ready for collection(did not opt for courier). I doubt VFS had them since last week as I see entry clearance dates are of mid last week.
