Question on UK NARIC requirement for Tier 2 Gen dependant (spouse) visa

Hello Experts,

We're applying for Skilled worker dependant visa for my wife who is an Indian citizen and has never been to the UK and applying from India. I am currently living in UK on a sponsored Tier 2 general visa valid from July 2019 and I am an Indian citizen. We were married in Aug 2021.

It is not clear whether as part of the supporting documents, I need to provide a NARIC approved certificate for my wife's English proficiency or whether her Degree certificate written in English from her University in India will suffice. I’ve checked with my peers and none of them had to provide a NARIC certificate for their spouse, however this is not 100% clear to me. Please can you advise based on the up to date processes?
