Re-applying Tier2 after 1 year

Post by juzdump001 » Wed Nov 14, 2018 4:54 pm

Hi,

I used to work in UK from Sep-2017 to Aug-2018.
I came back to India in August 2018.
Now I am getting an offer from another company in UK.

My question is:
1. Can I work in UK now or will I have to wait for 1 year to go back in UK to work?
I have heard from some colleagues that you have to spend atleast 1 year outside of UK to reapply for a work permit.

2. Do I have to return my BRP to the UK Embassy? What if it is lost?

Please let me know.

Thank you

Ace

What visa did you have?

1. You have to wait 12 months.

2. No. Your visa will automatically be cirtailed/cancelled.

Hi CR001

Thank you for your reply.

I had a "D -Tier 2 (General) Migrant" visa.

1. You have to wait 12 months.
Even if its a different employer? That sucks.

2. No. Your visa will automatically be cirtailed/cancelled
Thats good. So I dont have to worry about returning my BRP card to UK head office.

Again thank you so much for your reply.

God bless

cheers

You should have stayed in the UK as you would have been able to change employers without leaving. You will now have to wait 12 months unless being paid at a very high level.

Wow that is promising. How much do you mean by very high level.
