My employer applied for the COS on 4th september...i think today is the day when HO will make decision..can somebody please update here if he/she gets the cos..my employer said that it may take upto 6 weeks to get the cos
It is a rolling draw system hence post the allocation day, RCoSes are allocated on each day of the month. Once your sponsor receives the RCoS they need to assign it to you.

My Employer just informed me regarding the message which the Home Office had sent to sponsors on the Sponsor Management System.
It said that they didn’t allocate the COS yesterday due to technical issues. It’ll be done today.

All the best to EVERYONE!

My employer received approval for my RCoS this morning.

I'm quite surprised, actually - based on our calculations I should only have 50 - 55 points (forget where we landed on salary). I assumed it would take a bit longer given approvals supposedly roll down, highest to lowest points, and have seen from last month's allocations that some people with my points didn't hear for 5 - 6 days. However, my RCoS did get rejected last month on a technicality, so perhaps the application having been through once and rejected, and now barely changed, gave us some advantage this month.

Don't think it's based on highest to lowest order. It's random. Congratulations

Hi all,

My wife is currently on tier 2 partner/spouse visa(dependent). Her employer will now sponsor her and they applied for RCoS on the 5th sep and the home office asked for her P60 and 3 HR payslip on the 9th of September. We understand that the allocation date was yesterday and we haven’t received any decision yet does this meant that her application will be postponed to the next month? Nor sure why the decision wasn’t taken in 11th given that her employer provided the details once they received the request of information. Her salary is 42 K and we are a bit worried that the application would be delayed for the next month, is there any possibility to get approval within the coming days?

Thanks alot

No it does not mean that at all. RCoS notifications get sent out over a couple of weeks, they do not all get sent on the 11th!!

So, non everything means RLMT done (20p) + 45p salary.

Good luck!

Cool, thanks. 45 pts for Salary means £45000 pa? Each 1 point for £1000. Is my assumption correct?

Cos granted- 57 points, NON everything!
I do have a query- when a cos is granted, do the HO sends any letter or only the SMS portal is updated? Because in the time of rejection they get a letter.

The HO send an email to tell your sponsor that the request was approved.

My occupation is SOL and I have been waiting since August. Anyone know how COS are assigned? I thought allocations were based on points and shortage having higher points gets priority.
