Skilled worker visa - change of employment

I am currently working in the UK on a TIER 2 GENERAL visa. I have now been offered a new job and I am required to apply for a new UK skilled worker visa. The issue is that I recently submitted a dependent visa application for my newborn daughter based on my existing Tier 2 residence permit prior to this new job offer.

I would like to know if its possible for me to submit my visa application for obtaining a new skilled worker residence permit to take up this new job whilst dependent visa application of my newborn is still being processed?

I would appreciate if someone could help with this query.
