Skilled worker visa - which dates is the start date of my visa?

Hi everyone,

I was dependent on my wife visa and I stayed on this for almost 2 years. Then I switched my visa to a skilled worked visa. My question is which dates is the start date of my visa?

I got an approval letter email on the 10-08-2021
My BRP shows (Date of issue) 18-08-2021

My visa expired date is 14-07-2026

which one I should take while calculating the ILR application?

Then my earliest ILR application date is the 20th of July 2026 and my visa expired date is 14 of July 2026. There is 6 days gap between both dates for applying for ILR. I am worried that I will need an application to extend my visa again. Or can I apply directly for ILR without an extension application?
