Switching from Tier4 to Tier2. Police registration data update, Dependant Child under 16

Hello,
Will apply for a Tier 2 with two dependants while in the UK. One of the dependants is under 16. While we were here on Tier4 we were registered with the police. The kid's passport has been changed halfway through.
We did not update that information yet.
Would you recommend to update this before submitting the visa application?
Called the police, they said that I can update the kid's new passport together with the new visa information.
What do you think?
