Switching Tier 2 General Visa from Mainland UK to Isle of man

Hello All,

Could you someone help me with my visa situation?

I am Tier 2 Genera Visa since 2014(3 years 8 months), my current company and my previous company is based in Mainland UK(London and around). I currently got a job offer from a Company in Isle of MAN(Got Tier 2 sponsorship licence).

My question is if I accept the offer and switch my Tier 2 visa to this company in Isle of Man, am I still eligible to apply for ILR after 5 years (i.e in April 2019 )?

Do I need to consider any important points which may affect my ILR before switching my visa?

Do I need to apply New Tier 2 visa in Isle of man or can I apply in mainland UK?

Do I need to pay NHS surcharges, I am unable to find any references to this one in Isle of man site?

If you search the board, you'll see that the reverse case (IOM to UK Tier 2) has fairly recently been accepted as valid by UK immigration and time spent in IOM now counts towards UK ILR. I would email the IOM immigration office (the email is on the government website) and ask, but I think you should be OK. Not sure about the other parts of your question, so you should probably mention those as well.

I am currently working in Isle of Man with Tier 2 (General). Now I got a job in London. Is my visa can be transferred or switchable? Or do I need to wait for cooling period completion?
