Tier 2 dependent over 18 y/o

Post by des23 » Sat Mar 16, 2019 1:32 pm

Hi.I went to UK as a Tier 2 migrant worker,my family joined me and we all
left in 2010.I am returning as a Tier 2 migrant worker, but my daughter is
now 20.Can she come as my dependent?I read at the PBS guidelines that a
dependent over 18 can apply for leave to remain if she has been previously
granted one. Will my daughter qualify for this, and be granted a dependent
visa when I apply for her online? Thanks

I could be wrong but it's probably a No.

A ‘dependant’ is any of the following:
your husband, wife or partner
your child under 18
your child over 18 if they’re currently in the UK as a depend

A visa they qualify for in their own right, i.e. student visa, Ancestry visa (if relevant), tier 5 visa etc.
