Tier 2 Dependent Queries

Post by Jamytart » Mon May 17, 2021 3:50 pm

Hi Everyone,

I've recently been granted ILR through Tier -2 (5 years route) and my spouse is eligible for ILR through Tier 2 dependent route in few months time. If someone can answer below queries please:

1) If I change my current employer through which I got ILR, would it effect my spouse's ILR application in any way? Anything I need to be aware of before I switch?

2) Will I need anything for my naturalisation application/British Passport from my employer who got me ILR?

2) Will I need any documentation/confirmation or support from my existing employer (who supported my ILR application) for my spouse's ILR application (through Tier 2 dependent) ?

3) Which documents can be used as an evidence for cohabitation? Would council tax bill, spouse's bank statement showing same address as mine and driving license showing same address be enough evidence?

4) How lmany years do we need to go back to prove the cohabitation? Is it just for last 2 years?

Thanks
