Tier 2(G) to ILR

Dear Members

I got Tier 2 (General) visa on Dec 1st 2012 initially for 3 years i.e till Dec 2015. Being a Doctor i was on shortage occupation list. I have a query if some one can help....

Am i eligible for ILR after 5 years of stay as i am hopeful that my visa will get extended in December 2015 for for further 3 years under Tier 2 General ?

If Yes then can you please inform which specific rule will apply for eligibility for ILR after 5 years of stay in UK (As per existing Rules)? My salary range is also above minimum salary requirement.

If NO please mention the rule which is applicable?
