Tier 2 General and Company Director

My spouse switched from Tier 2 ICT dependent on General visa in August 2019 last year. She opened a company in 2018 for self-employment however, she was not able to do any self-employment and was sponsored by her full-time employer in August 2019. Please note that she haven't earned anything from her formed company till now.
Now, it looks like there are no clear guidelines being a director of a company while you are on a Tier 2 general in the UK. We are thinking of getting her resigned from the director in the company or dissolving the company to avoid any issues with her immigration status as they need to go for a T2 general extension in 2021.
please suggest.
