Tier 2 visa extension with traffic offence

Post by Butterfly5 » Thu Apr 26, 2018 12:37 pm

Hi there, I will be switching from a Tier 4 student visa to a tier 2 work visa soon. My passport has not yet submitted to my employer but will do so in July.

I recently was caught driving without license and without insurance using my boyfriend’s car, no one was harmed. I was told that I might expect a letter through the post in 2-3 months time notifying me to send in my Internaitonal driving license and could potentially be summoned to court if the authority is not satisfied with my documents.

I’m also expecting fines and points to my “ghost” Uk driving licence.

Should I disclose this to my employer now or when I receive paperwork from the authority ? I am more concerned about the my Visa side than my employer side since I will be working in financial sector.
