TUPE Takeover Question Re Tier 2 General

Hi,

I'm hoping somebody can help.

The business who currently sponsors me (Company A) is going to be absorbed/taken over into our parent company (Company B) effective from the April 1st. This process is protected under TUPE.

Would company B require a new sponsor licence, in order to migrate my sponsorship certificate? Or, since company A isn't changing ownership can we use the current licence and advise of the change?

Company B needs to already have a Sponsor licence or apply for one within 20 working days of the transfer.
