Waiting for Curtailment Letter, but when does 60 days start?

Hello,

The company that sponsored my Tier 2 visa got their license revoked. An email was sent to the employer on Feb 21 stating this which the employer forwarded to me.

I called home office to find out about the 60 days, and they said that I have to wait for a curtailment letter which would state how many days I would have. I have not yet received the curtailment letter.
But speaking to a solicitor he informed me that 60 days period starts when the notice email was sent.

I know a lot of people are confused about the same- When does the 60 day period start?

How can I verify this?

It starts from the date of the letter.
