Dual nationality

Good morning
Please could one of the experts advise on the status of a Ghanaian tier 4 holder who is in the uk about to commence masters. He’s been accepted but has not received CAS yet. His current BRP expires on 8 September 2020.

Whilst awaiting he received nationality of St Lucia therefore now being a dual national. Citizens of St Lucia do not need visas to enter the uk.

If his CAS does not arrive before the BRP expires on )8 September 2020, could he remain in the uk on the basis of his St Lucia nationality or does he have to return home and apply for entry clearance.

Is there anyway of notifying the home office of his St Lucia nationality?

Please could anyone advise?

No.

You need to speak to the university urgently about getting your CAS on or before 8 September so you can make your application. If they do not intend to issue it by then, they need to advise you on your options.
