No email confirmation from vfs

Hello people,

I applied for UK student visa on 2nd and had my biometrics. I did not receive any email that my application has been forwarded. Is this normal? Please tell me.
I didn't opt for sms service because I thought they email.
And the vfs is Lahore, Pakistan. Any applicants from Pakistan please shed your light.

I emailed ukvi helpline but they say there are no updates.
Normally, how long does it take that they can say that there are some updates when I email.

Kindly help me through as I am in very worry

Hi. Do not get worried. I applied on 19th Aug and received an email from VISA SHEFFIELD that they hd received the application on 26th Aug.
U would get it by Monday or Tuesday. Wait and relax.

Do we get the confirmation on VISA process as-well??
i though we get the update on email once visa process is complete which is normally 15 days as they have said to collect the visa.
I have applied for Tier4 visa on 5th of September and have not received anything yet.

Nope. Only on decision from what I've heard. When are your classes starting? Do they process earlier if our classes our about to start?

Uklhr, My class start on 26th of September and my airport meeting time is 20th of September as i assume if i get visa with a 15 days. So then there is no any pre visa emails from right?? So, we only receive email on date of our visa arrival on our visa collection center right??
And about the earlier process i don't have idear but i've heard that we can make a request.

Yes bro. That's what I know. I didn't get any email of file being forwarded from vfs or any update/processing email. What is airport meeting time?
Do you know how to make request of urgent processing?

Uklhr, Airport meeting time is the one that university gives you.
and about the priority visa process i guess you can contact with your vfs center.
And when did you applied for visa and what is your class start date??

I think it's 19. I applied on 2nd, technically 1 day earlier

So you haven't heard about your VISA till now it's almost 12 day's.

It's been 6 working days only.
Visa comes within 15 working days. Doesn't include holidays and weekends etc.
