Yes, only an overstay of 30 days or more is grounds for refusal. See paragraphs 9.8.4 to 9.8.6 of the General grounds of refusal:SoberHomo wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 5:40 amObviously, I am planning on disclosing this three-week overstay, as it's required in the application. But I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the likelihood of approval. The immigration rules on gov.uk seem to indicate that an overstay of <30 days is not grounds for refusal for a student visa, but it would be helpful to hear any first- or second-hand experience that anyone has.
The application form gives you a chance to briefly explain the circumstances of an overstay, although as above this overstay doesn't impact on the application anyway.
