@Shariffk, I answered the question you asked. What do you think about my case?
U can only wait the decision as all of us, we are all facing delays ,that is huge stress..

Oh dear! The anxiety is overwhelming. Especially cos mine normally should have been decided in 24hrs.

Hey guys,

I applied from Islamabad, on standard service.
My timeline as follows:

28th Aug: Online registration
30th Aug: Biometrics and Interview
30th Aug: VFS conformation
2nd Sep: Sheffield email

Now it's the 19th and today is the 15th working day I've had no reply at all from anywhere, my classes start 23rd sep and it's really starting to make me anxious. I've tried tracking the application thru the phone line but Everytime they say ' your card has been declined' and I've tried like 6 different cards so pretty much stuck in a boat in the open sea.

Hi!
I got my accepted visa today, so my full timeline is

28th Aug: Online registration
30th Aug: Biometrics and Interview
30th Aug: VFS conformation
2nd Sep: Sheffield email
20th Sep: Application Received at VFS
21 Sep: Courrier Service

It took mine a full 15 working days, and I can really understand everyone going thru the waiting period it really sucks but hopefully, the wait is going to be worth it! I hope everyone receives their visa well in time. Good luck guys!

*Deferred complex mail from UK DMC*

Hello guys,

I applied for Super priority student visa (24hrs service) , did my biometrics on Monday 16th September. Got a confirmation mail from sheffield after which I got another mail from DMC titled "Deferred Complex " with the body of the message saying my application is not straightforward and hence won't be decided within customer set target. Yesterday, 17th September, they called again and interviewed me. Since then nothing from them. Has anyone experienced this on superpriority visa application? Should I be really worried about the delay or it's neglible? Actually, I'm worried! Application was done in Nigeria.

Got my visa today. Elated much!

Hello Everyone,I have applied for UK tier 4 Student(General) visa
My timeline is given below: My Appointment was on 26 August 2019.Biometric and passport was received on the same Day 26 August and no interview was conducted at VFS because of summer bank holiday in Uk.On 28 Aug,I received an email which says my application is received by Uk decision making centre in Sheffield.Today 1st of September,I havent received any Update from them. As my college is going to start on 16 Septemter there is only 15 days left behind.Im so worried please suggest any advice.
Since you’re waiting on an update I presume you chose the priority service for your visa? Which country are you applying from? We share the same timeline and I chose priority service and hopefully I get it by this week
Im applying from Pakistan and they are not providing the piority service so i just went for standard service.

Please have u received your visa. I have same issue as yours and as at now I haven't received any mail after a mail confirming receipt of my documents and now at the decision centre from home office on 31/08

I am in panic mode right now.

Here goes my timeline:

Location: New Delhi, INDIA
VISA Category: Standard
Online Application: 26th Aug
Biometric and Document Scanning: 29th Aug
SMS from VFS saying that Application Forwarded to UKVI: 30th Aug
E-mail from Sheffield Application Received at Decision Center: 7th Sept

Still waiting for any information.
I paid for courier service which attenuates my anxiety.
I am already missing my welcome week and have got my flight scheduled for 18th late night.
I might have to reschedule the journey. I don't want to miss the last day of welcome week.
My classes are starting from 23rd Sept.

Don't know what to do.
Updating my timeline as I received the approved VISA.

18th Sept - called Uni. They said CAS was 'used' few days ago.
20th Sept - Received a SMS and an e-mail saying the VFS has received my processed application and hence will be delivered to my address
22rd Sept (SUNDAY) - Received my Passport and decision letter via Bluedart.
24th Sept - Date of Flight. Had booked before having any information about the status of the VISA. Close. I know.

Hope everyone here get it in time

My time line:
online application: 27th Aug
Passport and fingerprint: 29th Aug
Sheffiled email: 2nd Sep
I went to VFS center this morning but still no update. The uni said my CAS is marked as "used" when I checked with them today.
Do you know if it means a decision has been made if it was marked as "used"?
Good luck everyone.

Finally got my visa. Will leave my timeline and advice here for future student who need.

4 july - biometric
4 july - email from sheffo
19 aug - email to escalate
23 sep - receive passport with visa

Personal tips
Call as soon as the deadline pass. I did it late because i understand they are busy but it does not benefit me at all. DONT waste money on email. Call is better

Most important, get your school to CHASE for you. They have internal contacts I believe. It worked for me. Wouldn't do it without them

Good luck

I applied for tier4 visa with my 2 dependents my husband and my son

Standard service
7th of Aug (Biometric at Abu Dabi vfs)
8th of Aug (received an email from Sheffield decision making center that they received my online application)
2nd of Sep (Phone call credibility interview)

and now I am waiting for the decision
Can you tell me about what did the ask in the interview??
the interview took more than 1 hour and 15 minutes because the interviewer was typing and stopped me several times. She asked me lots of questions about the university, the course, Uk, financial supportT my relevants in the Uk and ... .
I received this email yesterday. I have 2 questions about that. Does it mean my visa is approved and I will get the visa or it is not understandable from this email?
I have 2 dependents and they haven't received any email. What does it mean? The decision about their application is not made yet? or all of us will get the visa? I am confused.

Our office is now ready to issue you a UK Visa. To complete this process we require you to undertake the following steps:

1. Please submit your passport to the Visa Application Centre (VAC) where you made your original visa application .
2. Please also submit a copy of this e-mail so that the Visa Application Centre will know to accept your passport.
3. Please email us at sheffieldstudentteam@homeoffice.gov.uk when you have submitted your passport.

Kind regards,
UK Decision Making Centre

Both.

But it is more effective if your school call home office for you.

Hello all!! Here’s my timeline:

STANDARD APPLICATION
Online application: 07 September
Biometrics: 19 September
Email from Sheffield: 19 September
Decision made: 23 September
Passport received by VFS: 26 September
Passport collected: 26 September

I honestly wasn’t expecting a decision to be made that quick!! Especially since I went for the standard application but it took (if my math is right 😅) 3 working days for a decision to be made and 4 working days for me to get my passport. I applied from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia btw.
