Student Visa extension

Visa extensions

I am an international student ( India),due to the COVID-19 situation I can’t able to travel to my home country (India). My visa expires on May 31 2021. Is there any way to available to extend my visa ?

Please advise me

You cannot apply for an extension of your Student visa, but if you genuinely cannot yet leave the UK for reasons related to the pandemic, you can apply for a temporary "exceptional assurance". This allows you to overstay for a short time with no specific future repercussions.
