Study/Switch option from Tier-2 ICT

Post by walnut » Wed Sep 15, 2021 9:07 pm

I am currently on Tier-2 ICT visa and exploring options for higher studies(postgraduate). My queries below:-

1. Am I allowed to study part-time with Tier-2 ICT visa? If yes, would the fees be following international or home application?
2. Can I switch to Student Visa with an in-country application? If yes, what would be the visa start date? Say, my current ICT BRP is ending last week of Jan and course is starting mid/end February. Would the Student visa start date be sufficient enough for me not to leave and return back? Any way to convey such request to HO while submitting application and does it get entertained?

Highly likely to be Overseas, but for details of who pays at the Home rate see

You can apply in the UK if the gap is maximum 28 days. See Appendix Student, paragraph ST 4.3
