Switching from Tier 2 General to Tier 4 Dependant

Post by J87London » Thu Feb 20, 2020 8:41 am

Hi,

I have currently being made redundant and am now in the 60 days of tier 2 visa curtailment period. My husband is currently on a tier 4 visa valid for another year. Can I apply for tier 4 dependent visa? I have not yet got any letter from the home office with regards to my tier 2 visa curtailment though. It has now been 2 and a half weeks since my last date of employment.

I appreciate your kind reply.

Thanks

Depending on the expiry date of your visa, your curtailment period starts when HO writes to you and NOT from your last date of employment.

You can switch to dependent visa if you meet the requirements.
