Tier 4 extension maximum period

Dear All,

I am an Indian student, studied Bachelor degree, PG diploma and now toping up dissertation at University near Manchester.

studied Bachelor Tier 4 : 10/09/2012 to 30/10/2015
started PG diploma Tier 4 : 11/11/2015 to 30/01/2017 I was seriously sick and was not able to take exams
extended Tier 4 again : 07/03/2017 to 29/10/2017 and completed PG diploma.

to top up 60 credits MSc dissertation, I had to go out of the UK and applied for Short Term Student Visa (6Months).

and Came back on 01/02/2018 visa valid till 29/07/2018.

studied in Tier 4 visa - 62 months in total and will be completing 6 months duration in STSV.

I would like to take Ph.D.and my query is Am I eligible to apply for Tier 4 visa????????

Yes. You seem to be concerned about the time cap, but an application for PhD studies is excluded from the cap. See paragraph 118 of the Tier 4 Policy Guidance, final bullet point.

I mean, would I be eligible to apply for ILR (long term resident) if I lived in UK for 10 years in student visa.
