Tier 4 Masters Student to PGCE

Post by thatgirlkenza » Wed Sep 16, 2020 5:08 pm

Hello,

I just need some help or advice surrounding a continuation of my studies by taking on a PGCE. I am currently a masters student on a Tier 4 Visa with a Mauritian passport. I understand that they are both level 7 on the Ofqual scale and just wanted to know if it was even possible and if so how I can undergo the process.

Any help or advice surrounding the matter would be much appreciated!
Thanks

It is covered in the guidance for Tier 4 applicants, page 80-81 "Studying at the same level"

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -4-student

You will need to check with the new sponsor whether they will be confirming Academic Progression on the CAS. If not, you will need to apply in your home country.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
