Tier 4 student changing University and dependant implications

Post by w123 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 5:06 pm

Hi,

Please i need help with my situation. I am a Phd student and completed 1.5
years of study. I want to change my Uni because my supervisory team left. I
already have a new admission from another University and am aware once i
send my withdrawal notice i will have 60 days to apply for a new Visa with
the new CAS. My main concern is what happens to my dependants (ie husband
and 2 kids?). Will i have to reapply for thier visa as well? I have
searched everywhere but can't find a definitive answer. Please help.

Kind regards,
w123

That's odd, because the specific matter is covered in the Home Office guidance for Tier 4 dependant applications. See paragraph 48.

I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
