tier 4 visa dependant question

Hello everyone,
To apply for a student visa for Postgraduate degree for 1 year, is it advisable/necessary to mention/include dependents (spouse and 3 year old child) on your application? If yes what are the requirements. I plan to return to my home country after finishing the course and resume my current job and do not wish my dependents to accompany me during my study year abroad but might like them to visit during the mid term.
You advise will be appreciated.

Yes, there are specific questions on the application form about whether you have any dependants.

Thank you for your reply sah. So dependents info will be included in the application form. How to mention that they are not accompanying me or is it irrelevant.
Is the process different for some one with dependents or without.

No. I advise you look at the application form, and all should become clear.

This is entirely normal and common. It does not add any complications or issues to the Tier 4 application. You may be over-thinking it.
