yes we have student account on university website where we can do pre registration tasks, apply accommodation and other stuff. There we also have
online CAS statement.
Are you applying to Imperial College London?

I had submitted photocopies of my docouments in VFS centre, is that why my application is delay or it could be a problem? is there anyone who received visa and submitted photocopies of original docouments in VFSGLOBAL?

I applied from Muscat
Biometric on 10/08
Today I received my passport
No e mail to notify me that decision was taken
I escalated my case twice urgently
It took 20 working days non priority
You just got the email from visa application centre to collect the passport?
And when did you escalate the case?
Yes the only e mail from VAC
I applied for me and 2 of my children and my husband
I escalated on 05/09 and on 07/09/2017
But my and my family visas were issued on 06/09/2017 and passports sent on same day to my country
Despite my daily calls to UKVI center they did not know that decision was made .. I think there is some issue in the system which can not show the update of the process

They will contact you if they need the original documents
Do not worry they have problems with their system

I am not sure if they will accept the photocopy... but what I am sure about it as per their rules and conditions if you did not submit original documents they will contact you and then you have to submit them within 10 days.. but they will not reject the application for this reason unless they asked you to provide the original and you did not within 10 days

well I am returning student, I had a visa by Jan 2017 at that time I sent all photocopies of orignal docouments as VFS guy told me so this time I bring original and photocopies and VFS's Girl ask photocopies she scanned all of them and give me back. Bank statement, Maintanance letter, these were orignal but like my Academic certificates were photo copies, it's been 50 days and haven't got any email so I think it's all good so far? also what they will do with colors, all they need is correct and all orignal info, isn't it?
is there any other guy did same as I did please let me know, thank you.

So I have phoned the International Enquiry Service 4 hours ago and get a confirmation that they have made a decision on my application (yeah!), but they might take 10 more working days for the decision to reach me (wtf!?).

I have applied with priority service from Japan on 17 September. Unfortunately, the Visa is being processed in the Philippines (wtf Japan? You are supposed to have everything) and there are like 3 public holidays during that period (just kill me).

Anyone has a similar experience or any idea why it would take another 10 days for they to process that Visa? The staff refuses to comment on anything other than the fact that they have made a decision on my application (sad) and that my information has been added on their database on 1 September.
omg have you received your passport back? I'm in the same situation as you are! Applied from Indonesia and had my application decided on the 1st of september. They told me it may take up to 10 working days to deliver the passport back to the VAC. My course starts in a week and I haven't had my passport back!

Hi. I'm nadia from Indonesia. I've applied uk visa tier 4 regular on 27th of july. They sent me an email 15 days later saying that "it's under consideration and will take more time". Clearly, it supposed to be done within the next 15 days. However, this is my SIXTH WEEK. I've asked a few of my friends who are going to the same university as mine. One of them from Malaysia has been waiting for 8 WEEKS. Another from pakistan has been waiting for 9 WEEKS. Why is there a huge delay? My course is about to start next week. I'm afraid i won't make it JUST BECAUSE OF THIS VISA DELAY!!! My friends are in the same situation as me. I'm highly depressed and suffer from anxiety. I can't eat, sleep. I feel sick and i cry all the time. Please urgently help. Our future careers depend on this.
oh god i feel you. I'm from indonesia too, and it's my 4th week. i even paid for the priority service, and my course starts in 7 days.. :|

Hi guys,

I have been trying to call my uni to get them to contact UKVI and check if my CAS has been used but they never pick up! Emailed them instead, they took a day to reply just to send me a data confidentiality form saying they cant contact UKVI on my behalf without this. So I filled it and sent it back to them but again, no reply. They were telling me I could always do late registration.

Is anyone here from Uni of Sheffield? Which phone number are you using and which email? Because they don't seem to be cooperative at all with me..
I'm from TuoS too. u can check whether or not your cas is used by logging into MUSE, open pre registration task, and check your CAS document. you can see your status from there. Hope this helps!
