Biometric card delay , urgant help/advise

Hey guys, I need some advise

So I’ve reapplied for my biometric card in October. It’s been 6 months now and I haven’t heard anything from the home office in regards to a decision or receiving my biometric card , I’m very worried. What do you think I should do ? Is it normal to wait this long ? I’m sure the waiting periods is 4 months max ?

Would be very much thankful for any good advise x
