Worldbridge STILL giving out duff advice

Post by The Station Agent » Mon Sep 07, 2009 10:03 am

Over the last 10 months since PBS was introduced and the work permit system was scrapped we have had various issues with bands and theatrical productions being mis-advised by Worldbridge. We have had to take these issues to the very top of UK Visas and we thought that these errors had been iradicated. But today we find that a large (professional) theatrical production due to tour the UK next week were advised by Wolrdbridge to apply for business visitor visas. They were refused (no s**t, Sherlock). The travel party consists of Russians and other visa nationals.

They did not have CoS, of course. They completed the wrong forms of course.

This was all due to advice given during 2 fairly extensive phone calls the German production company office had with Worldbridge (at a cost of at least 20 Euros). I am suggesting they complain to Worldbridge and UK Visas, demand back all the visa fees and Worldbridge fees. But in the meantime we have to issue them CoS for a client and then try to help them get visas in Dusseldorf by Friday.

Be warned - Worldbridge may charge a premium rate but they don't always know what they're talking about and they will leave you up a certain creek without a certain paddle if they mis-advise you.
