Uncertainty is killing me

Post by Sweet_honesty212004 » Sun Mar 30, 2014 10:13 pm

Hello everyone

I've heard a lot of good things about this forum and therefore thought to share my confusion and situation with you all.
I applied for Tier 1 entrepreneur visa on 7th Jan 2013 after completing my PSW . I heard from the home office on 28th May 2013 and it was bad news, my visa was rejected and I was informed that I can appeal. So I appealed through my solicitor and got a hearing date for the 6th November. However a week or so before, received a letter from the home office stating they have withdrawn their case and the case is now under reconsideration.
Since then I've received letters for asking supporting documents which myself and solicitor provided as and when asked.
New story now that has crept up is the the home office keeps asking me to send them the passport, but the truth of the matter is that we never received my documents back to resend them, so I am kind of stuck in the middle. Don't know what to do anymore. Solicitor says the best bet is to 'wait!'

they probably lost your passport causing delays in processing the reconsideration of your application.

your lawyer should explain them Identity documents when a visa is refused are held and that you or your lawyer have not received it with the decision. offer them if they have lost it please say it so I could go and arrange myself a new passport, nothing wrong in it.

your lawyer when he knows Home office asking for the passport that they already have, should ask them further questions on passport whereabouts, wait is not helpful when you know the story.
thanks,
