Unmarried Partner Schengen Visa to France

Post by wadeday » Fri Aug 11, 2017 1:29 pm

Hi everybody

I currently hold an Unmarried Partner visa (Spouse Visa) in the UK with my British partner. So am I right to choose family member of EU citizen's visa type? If this is correct, in the document list I found the marriage certificate will be needed but obviously we don't have this. Can I still apply the visa without this certificate or I can't? Thank you very much.

All the best.

You can, Instead of marriage cert you can supply say proof of 2 years of relationship or more, ideally tenancy contract utility in both names.

Thank you, I can't find anything on TLS contact website about this but I will have a try.

On the day of visa application do you think they will do a check of my documents first and then go through the application or go for the application straightaway? I think if they do a check first then I can have a try but if not I may not make the application because I don't want my visa to be refused.

Thank you.
