Unmarried Partner Visa -> ILR

Post by sanjayrocks » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:29 pm

Dear all,

I received my Unmarried partner visa on March 2011. I assume even there are new changes to the rule, I am still under the 2 years probationary period.

1) When should I apply for the ILR(1st week of March 2013)?
2) Is it the same kind of documents which I sent to Home office to apply for the unmarried partner visa that I should be using(continuation of documents proving the genuine relationship from 2011 onward)

Do i need to send the old set of documents (2008-2011) which i submitted to gain my unmarried partner visa.

3)Also i need to pass the Life in UK exam isnt it. Is it ok i sit for the exam around September 2012 or any specific time period that i should take up this exam.

4) Any other extra information/documents I should know about which will aid me on successfully receiving the ILR.

Many Thanks

I suggest you read form and guidance SET(M) first, and then ask anything if its not clear to you.
