Urgent Advice Needed...applying this week

Post by wazee89 » Tue Nov 16, 2010 1:55 am

Hi all,

i am applying this week and need your input on few points. I am claiming points for earnings for salaried employment as well as self employment. However, i am a bit confused about whether to explain the type of work in my cover letter or not.

Do i need to explain in the cover letter about all withdrawal from my account as they are consistent and the final balance is not what the total earnings are...e.g if i have earned £44000 in 7 months time and i have been taking out money at regular intervals with the remaining balance is just around £2000. Do i need to mention in my cover letter that i have been sending the profits to my family in my country ( do they ask for proofs of it?)?

i send invoice to my client and he pays quite late, sometimes after 2 months, and split payments too.....is it ok? or the money should always be paid in the same month and in full?

Please give your input as i am nervous on these questions.

Kind Regards

Don't explain anything that's not specifically asked for.

What you do with your money is nobody else's business. The only thing the UKBA will concerned with is that you have enough money for maintenance.

I think nobody's answering because it's pretty straight forward. I don't think anyone is able to just "save up" their entire year's earnings! And in terms of late payments etc, just make sure your financials are drawn up by a professional accountant (by that I mean belonging to a professional body recognised by UKBA) and it's not an issue whatsoever.

thx mulderpf

i got nervous coz one of my friend told me that UKBA had sent him a letter (why did his ending balance too low when he earned £50,000 in a year).

ACCA certified accountant is certifying my earnings as per UKBA guidlines.

thx mate....you were there to help.

I wouldn't panic about it. One of the reasons people earn money is so that they can pay their rent / bills / food, etc!
I am not, and cannot, offer legal advice to particular people. I can only discuss general areas of immigration law.

People should always consider obtaining professional advice about their own particular circumstances.

dont need to explain them....

just catagorize your documents and present them well with sticky notes marking what documents they are.. and make sure you have all required documents.....and thats it.....

wish you gud luck
