Urgent Application form Query

Post by bhamblues » Mon Feb 06, 2012 11:39 am

Hi,
I have submitted my PSW postal application last week through a solicitor. I have just found out that he had made an error in filling the form. He forgot to claim points for date of Qualification (15 points) so that makes a total of only 80 points. When I asked him he said it doesnt matter as the UKBA calculate the points from their end and since I have submitted all the relevant documents, I dont need to worry.
Could you kindly advise as I am worried.
Thanks

He should refund you for committing the error as you paid him for the provision of error-free services. :D

Whatever the case, UKBA recalculates the points. Meaning if you had claimed points for an area which you didn't deserve, UKBA would know. Hope that a sensible caseworker (and not robot) handles your file.

I hope you get a sensible case worker for your application otherwise it can go wrong, however you should ask money back from solicitor in either case.
