Urgent: Contract Salary slabs- Tier 1

For the renewal of Tier 1(general), there are points for Salary earned in past 12 months. My queries are:
-Are the slabs different for people working in contract jobs (due to different tax treatment)?

- What if am out of contract at the time of renewal but qualify as per point based system? Is there a possibility of rejection of renewal application due to this?

Earning slabs are same irrespective of you are a contractor or permanent employee.
It does not matter if you are employed or unemployed at the time of application provided you have enough earning points to qualify
