Hi All,

I am a British citizen living in London. This morning I have applied online for visas for my wife and 2 children to join me from south Asia. I think I have made a fundamental mistake. I have created three applications and filled all

Online Filled Forms

Appendix FM Partner
Appendix FM Child

I called UKVI, I was told by them that all three applications will be filled separately, and also all three will pay separately IHS and UKVI fee

My wife application went smoothly, I paid for IHS, and then the application fee
But my children applications I am struggling to understand what is wrong I am doing, when I tried to pay the IHS for my son's application at the end of all steps a message appeared (EXEMPT BASED ON LEAD APPLICANT BEING 18 OR UNDER AND APPLYING UNDER VISA ROUTE: SETTLEMENT-CHILD OR DEPENDENT OF SETTLED) and IHS amount is 0.00

I suspect I have not filled the correct forms maybe. I am also confused about why all three applications are not linked.
Can somebody please help me to understand what to do in this situation?

As far as my understanding when you apply for parent it does give you an option in the same form that if any children’s are applying with the other parents.

You have filled the application form correctly, you will be sent a payment link later for your two dependents so don’t be too harsh on yourself.

I was so panic and stressed that day so i cancelled both applications for my wife and son straight away. I have applied for refund and its gonna take some time. I did not upload any documents also no biometric appointment. Can i apply again now while waiting for cancellations and refund or i must wait for cancellations and refund?
