Urgent help Visitor Visa refused

Post by Husyn » Fri Feb 28, 2020 11:54 pm

Hello moderators and senior members,

I am an U.K resident, I sponsored my parents to attend my wedding in Uk and their visitor visa has been refused on the basis of cash deposits into the account in account :

Please refer to points on refusal letter:

1. I acknowledge the supporting documentation you have submitted from your sponsor. You state in your application form that your sponsor will be providing you with accommodation and meeting the cost of your living expenses. I am satisfied from the information submitted with your application that your sponsor has the means to do so. It is however your responsibility to satisfy me that if you were issued with a UK visit visa that you would leave the UK at the end of your visit.

2.you have submitted your personal bank statement with funds of 307268.40INR (£3280.67) as evidence of your financial circumstances. This account was running at a considerably lower balance until recently when large cash payments were deposited. Your bank statement shows that the current balance is significantly higher than at any time in the recent account history. You have submitted no information of the origins of these large recent deposits and they are inconsistent with your stated earnings. This indicates that the account has been artificially inflated. I also note that no information has been submitted to demonstrate your stated employment such as a business registration documents and accounts for the business. I am not therefore satisfied that your bank statement represents a true reflection of your financial circumstances or that these funds are genuinely available.

3.The above casts doubt on your credibility and intentions in the UK and I am not satisfied that you are genuinely visiting for the purpose and period stated. Nor am I satisfied that you have demonstrated strong economic, social and family ties that would encourage you to leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under Appendix V: Paragraph V4.2 (a), (c) & (e) of the Immigration Rules.

The fact is my parents are self employed and their income and savings is in cash only which was deposit in the account just few weeks prior to application.
I.T returns reflects the same amount of net income.

My moms visa is also refused on the same grounds and a similar refusal letter just with a different value in account.

Please help how can I tackle this ?

You can't tackle this. Visitor visa decisions are final without opportunity to further plead your case or get a review.

Someone from my own family got a refusal a in Dec 2019 on similar grounds. Last minute, he took the savings of his wife and dropped in his current account to "make it look better". The wife was ok with that and the money was genuinely available to him but it triggered a strong refusal from the Home Office.

I don't recommend applying again as it's very likely going to trigger a similar refusal.
