Urgent: Indian Bank Statement Query

Dear All!!

Currently I am on WP and will be applying for Tier 1 next week. I get paid both in India and UK. I receive Indian Bank Statement directly to my email and it in Bank's Letter Head and also have digital signature on it. Can you guys please let me know if I need to get it signed and sealed by the bank or email statement will work as it contains Logo, Address and Digital Signature.

Seniors please help me out if it is OK to submit bank statements received as an attachment with above conditions.....

and you have to take them to a solicitor who can authenticate them and stamp them as genuine.

a printout of the copys might be accepted and stamped, but they usually arn't accepted.

Does it make a difference as I am providing Indian bank stmt for previous earnings points only. Please suggest.

Why need verification from solicitor if you are sending original. If you are taking print out then it must be verified by Bank.Verification from solicitor will not work. Better get a hard copy of Bank statement. In past, many people get away by taking a colour laser print of such statements(sent in email as pdf file). But this will be tricky now. Don't take risk.

Can you provide any reference for your statement?

Printout copy (signed and stamped) are accepted.I did it for my visa. But for out of country application better keep it simple and provide the documents obtained from source.

Thanks mate. I am applying from UK itself and currently does not have the "original" print outs from the bank. Please suggest if it will be fine to take a print of the statement and sealed and signed by the bank.

when i went to get all my paperwork done, my solicitor got all the documents stamped and veryfied, and some contries you can get dodgy statements, so they are checked that they have been veryfied. it speeds things up slightly.

i got printouts direct from the bank, but they said even if they were signed and stamped by the bank themselves they wouldnt be accepted in any immigration case, they have to be actual bank statements.
