Urgent........

Post by vijaykdwivedi » Tue May 16, 2006 11:09 am

Dear All,
Sorry about the duplicate post. I need some expert advise urgently for below mentioned points.

I had applied for HSMP in Dec 05. My application got rejected. The claim and awarded points were as below.

1. Education Claimed 15 Awarded 15
2. Past Earning Claimed 25 Awarded 25
3. Work Experience Claimed 25 Awarded 0

Reason given was that the experience certificates are not descriptive enough.
Review request was also rejected.

I intends to apply for HSMP again, as I got the descriptive experience certificates from my previous employers. But, I am facing one problem.

1. Since I had taken some loan ( salary advance from Employer ) that is not reflected in my salary slips as earning. Because of this reason my past 12 months earning ( net salary ) is less then what I proved in my previous HSMP application. However, gross is more.

2. If I mention this salary if they cross check it with my previous claims they may wonder about this descripancy. Please advise.

3. Since I didn't receive my Tax Return ceritificate from my employer so can I produce my previous Tax Return certificate?i.e. FY 2004-2005. I am from India and FY is from April to March as in UK.

4. Should I quote my previous Application Reference number in my cover letter?

As my HSMP got rejected once I am causious this time.
Senior members please advise me about these crucial points.

Thanks and Regards
Vijay

ans: what matters is did your net salary is still more than enough to claim points n salary section.

2. If I mention this salary if they cross check it with my previous claims they may wonder about this descripancy. Please advise.

ans: they only believe what is mention either in Form16 or Saral.

3. Since I didn't receive my Tax Return ceritificate from my employer so can I produce my previous Tax Return certificate?i.e. FY 2004-2005. I am from India and FY is from April to March as in UK.

ans This is may end. you should get latest tax retun any way by next month. whats the hurry

4. Should I quote my previous Application Reference number in my cover letter?

ans:your refrence number will never change no matter how many times you apply.

As my HSMP got rejected once I am causious this time.

Best of luck. Read more post on work expreince letters detail format in this forum

Pally u just have to take it easy otherwise you may be rejected again and again (God Forbid!)

relax and take time to read the caseworker manual well. never be in a haste to reapply. when you package it well post your documents again for review and send; it work like magic going by what i've been reading on this forum.

I understands how you're feeling now, it's not easy at all, but there's always a second chance.

cheers

When HSMP calculate past earnings, they take your Gross salary into consideration. If your gross salary is still the same/more as earlier then there should not be any problem. Now the problem comes with net salary, as your net salary has gone lower than before, so you better give explanation that why it has gone signifincantly lower than before.

They are definately going to cross check your previous application with your new application. Even if you do not mention your previous HSMP application reference number in new application. They will automatically locate it from you date of Birth. And you will not be alloted new ref number for your second application. HSMP reference number remains same regardless of the fact that you drop more applications.

Yes, if you have not received tax return for this year then definately you better use tax return for last year.

Hope this helps.

Hi Sohail,
Thanks a lot for this information.
Previously, I mentioned my net salary in my application. This time I corrected myself and mentioning gross salary. This is certainly more then what I quoted previously.
Also, I am mentioning my previous Ref: No in cover letter.
The only difference this time is that I am sending reference letters from previous employers in detail that mentions my experience in detail. Hope this time it gets through.
Thanks and Regards
Vijay
