Urgent - Tier 2 Ext. Child DOB Confliction

Hi,

I am planning for tier 2 G Ext along with family, my son is under 5 officially ( as per passport , by mistake issued with wrong dob 1 year late, and we did not bother) but due to some reasons we had to mention actual dob (he is now under 6 actually) so 1 year difference.

my question is , we dont have a time to rectify whole thing at this stage as visa is about to expire in early November,2014 and everything is ready to apply, will this effect on his application and whole family's application ?

does HO check NHS records?

Please guide me.
