B1/B2 Business Visa never used- Can I use it for Tourism now?

Hi,

I applied for a US visitor visa via my old company for some work and received B1/B2 visitor visa(2020). However, I never travelled to the USA due to covid and switched jobs.

I am planning to visit the USA for tourism purposes next month (May 2023) and can I use the same visa, or must I apply for a new one?

Any thoughts?

You already have a visitors visa (provided it's still valid and not expired), no need to apply for a new one.
Visitor visas are nonimmigrant visas for persons who want to enter the United States temporarily for business (visa category B-1), for tourism (visa category B-2), or for a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2).
