UK citizens(naturalised) moving to US on L1. Greencard?

Post by barua » Sun Jul 17, 2016 8:58 pm

Hello All,
Me and my family all are naturalised and have british passports. We have surrendered our indian citizenships.
Now my company wants me to relocate to US on L1. Wife will get L2 and she will be eligible to work.
Have 2 kids one school going and one to nursery.
L1 will be for 3 years and extendable to 5 years.
When do i need to apply for greencard? Is it easier to get it being a British citizen?
thanks,
Barua

Barua,

Green card processing will be based on your place of birth so forget the UK passport.
