VAF1B Supporting docs- spouse death cert

Post by tTlla Tech » Mon Mar 09, 2009 10:33 am

Hi,

How critical is it for a retired widow to provide husbands death certificate as supporting documents on a Familiy visit application?

Thanks

Desirable but not essential if she is coming to the UK as a visitor or on a permanant visa.

It would help her application considerably and clear any doubt that the ECO might have about her status.

Hope this helps.

I think it's very critical. How else will she prove to the ECO that she is infact a widow?
