Valdity of Letter of Medium of Instruction in English

Post by malikmoon » Thu Dec 14, 2006 12:16 am

its bit of personel nature question, I have done Bachelor of Commerece from Punjab University,Pakistan. this bachelor of Commerce is not equel to UK Graduation degree,(according to NARIC) but in Pakistan it's Graduation.but after that I was given admission in UK's University in Master and succesfully completed. the medium of instruction throughout my Bachelor of commerce degree was in English. I can obtain letter from the Punjab Univeristy confirming that but my question is, that would be valid prove for English language requirment in the eyes of case worker?
thanx for valuable opinions.

This is example of how UK gorvernment use double standards.
If you want to study in the UK or in colleges it is EXTREMELY easy to get admission if you are not aiming for high rank universities. This is also the reason why there are many bogus students in the UK.

Guess what:
-They need money from non-EU students to subsidise UK/EU students.
-In the UK there are more place at the univeristy then the students. You will see in the Master's program in low rank universites in the UK, very often there are less then 10 students for one intake. How could they survive if they do not take non EU students ???

Some universities in the UK are very good. However, 'majority' of them are even not in the league table of good universities in EU/World.

If you talk the the british students/british people in the UK, they do not know (or at least they do not want to know) that the University like in Europe: INSEAD, RSM, ETH Zurich,
In Asia: Tshing Hua University, Beijing University, University of Tokyo, IIT
is mcuh better then the majority of british Universities. (I myself also get degree from british univerfsity, so do not get me wrong)

Wanna see the league table of WOrld Business school, have a look on FT:
http://rankings.ft.com/rankings/mba/rankings.html

Thus, if people from HO want to be 'fair, honest and speaking from heart';
If there are so many bogus students in the UK, they should not entirely blame to the bogus students, but they UK should also blame to the british universities/higher institutions/colleges which create this incentive.

People from HO, hope you read this message, please speak from your heart.

But Immigration is another thing the basic principle is that there are more application then the UK could accomodate. So, they will try to find any mean to limit it.

Hi Pantaiema,

I completly agree with u...NARIC is earning very gud from comparison only...

Even if u get letter frm univ for eng, nothing is gurranted...If they want they can reject u...by just saying..We were not able to verify the letter...Which is quite possible coz we all know the helpdesk of govt universities...
