Validation Process

Hi all.

My partner and I have been lucky enough to be granted our peremanent residency visas and now need to validate them.

Can someone let me know how we go about this. Our passports have been sent to London and have the visas in them. Is it now simply a case of flying into any Australian airport and getting them stamped within the permitted time limits.

I managed to get it into my head somehow that this had to be done in Sydney by visiting the consulate. Don't know where this came from but need someone to confirm the correct procedure.
