Vary application from T 1 extention to T 4 dependant

Hi All,

Please could someone clear my confusions, specially senior members Zimba and Marcnath. I have applied for Tier 1 entrepreneur visa extension ( team 2 parters, 50k route)  in Feb 2018, and still in process. My wife is in UK on tier 4 visa, studying masters in central london university, her visa will expire in 2020. And I’m in this county for 9 years and 1 month now. Other member of T 1 team 10 years completed, so he is going to vary application to ILR in 2 weeks time.

My questions are

1- If I vary my current application to tier 4 dependant, will it effect my 10 years legal stay?

2- How much maintenance funds rquired to show, as I have read in forums that we have to show funds for both even main student has already got the visa.

3- I have funds in our joint account, will that be acceptable?
4- Is it good option to vary and apply for student dependent? I just want to do so may be I’ll be able to get visa quickly? And what are the chances of success in this?
6- Can I apply for premium service in new visa application system as My original documents are with HO.
7- if dependant application refused what are the option for me to complete 10 years.
8- If i get dependant visa now, can my wife apply for spouse visa with me when I apply for ILR next year or after I get ILR.
