Verification for Earnings

hi guyz
Any idea that when Case worker go 4 verification for earnings or its the common practice that they do verification for all the appicants who calaiminng points 4 earnings.? In which ways they do verification?
Guyz specially those who got their HSMP approved b4 , they share their experience regarding earnings.
